Security and Emergency Services Officer or Medical First Responder
Position Overview: The Campus Security Officer EMT/MFR is responsible for the safety and security of the residents, visitors, employees, and facilities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Daily rounds of the building and grounds.
- Continuous patrols of property and facilities.
- Staffs guardhouse to ensure the logging of visitors, residents and employees.
- Directs traffic on campus property.
- Completes Daily Rounds Reports.
- Completes Incident Reports (regarding medical response calls, theft of property, accidents, fires, serious mechanical malfunctions, emergency response, and violations of rules and regulations).
- Performs additional duties as assigned by Management to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Community.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. B.S. in Criminal Justice or related field preferred. No less than four years of Security, Military Police or Law Enforcement experience in good standing required.
Language Skills: Ability to read, write and speak in English.
License, Certificates, Registration: Must be able to attend, be tested on, and maintain certifications including, but not limited to: Medical First Responder and CPR within the first year of employment. These certifications must be maintained as a condition of employment and may require State Licensing/Certification. Requires current and valid state driver’s license.
