Position Overview: Responsible for implementing Social Media Marketing strategies on multiple Social Media platforms to assist with developing brand awareness.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Create, edit, publish and share social and digital media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) and public relations content (text, images, videos) that reflect the human interest stories and activities of HFV residents.
  2. Ability to assist with developing brand awareness that will assist with generating inbound traffic.
  3. Responsible for creating attention grabbing messaging and tracking performance on Social Media campaigns.
  4. Performs proofreading and editing skills on all forms of communication before posting.
  5. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Must have excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • The candidate must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be detail-oriented, customer focused and have a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Must have prior experience working on Social Media platforms.
  • Must enjoy and have prior experience working with seniors.
  • Photography and video editing and publishing skills preferred

 Education and/or Experience:  Recent College graduate or College student majoring in Communications, Media Arts, Journalism, Marketing, Social Media or related field.
